Depends on the cause: Make sure you are working closely with a pediatric rheumatologist and hepatologist (liver specialist). Generally if the cause of the bleeding is a structural problem then it can stop after procedure like ercp. If the problem is due to the immune system then use of immunomodulators will help control the bleeding.

Not likely: You seem to be describing primary sc.Erosing cholagitis. The best thing you can do is make sure that your daughter is being closely followed at a university program or a children's hospital that performs liver transplants in case that becomes an issue. While the beading you describe is not likely to get better, proper management can prolong the function of the diseased liver. Good luck.
