Will hysterectomy stop migraines if they happen during menatuation. i am taking too many excedrine?

Maybe: Menstrual migraines are related to hormonal changes. Just taking out your uterus will not likely help. Removal of ovaries may help. I would certainly exhaust all other options before resorting to major surgery.

Menstrual migraine: Hysterectomy does not stop ovulation only bleeding. Hormone changes still occur if ovaries in. Birth control pills should help if they are appropriate for you.
