What's the best time to take fibrate if i also take a statin?

No specific time: Use of a statin with Fenofibrate is not recommended unless other options exhausted and then close monitoring of ck for heart or muscle injury recommended. Timing doesn't appear to help.

No best time: I am not a big fan of fibrates. Especially in combination with statin. If you have to take both use very low dose statin.Combination increases risk for myopathy. Recommend to avoid combination in advanced age (> 65 years), impaired renal function (gfr < 30 ml/min), hepatic disease, females, hypothyroidism, small muscle mass.
