Boils: It can be if she is diabetic or has weakened immune system which can cause boil to worse and not heal. This then results in worsening skin infection which can spread into the blood.

Hard to say: Hard to say without looking at it but anything that shows up on the breast should be evaluated by a doctor. It could something as simple as a cyst or infection but as complicated like cancer.
