A member asked:

Does a brain mri always include the entire head and face?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: A true brain MRI shows the brain and only a portion of the face. Also, the thickness of the images do not allow for full evaluation of certain structures. A brain mri, focuses on the brain tissue.
