A member asked:

Does constipation cause bad breath ? or is it cause of stomach infections or disease ?

No, No, and NO!: Please don't be fooled by colon cleanser claims! constipation is defined by doctors as bowel infrequency--less than one stool every 3-4 days. In most cases of non-obstructed constipation, neither bad breath, stomach infections, nor disease in general will result. Be concerned in rare cases of bowel blockage of any cause, marked dysmotility (colonic inertia, pelvic floor dysfunction), etc.

Stomach : Bad breath is often related to dental disease, but sometimes related to a sinus condition or chronic tonsillitis. However, very often, it is often related to the stomach and food intolerances( foods that you don't digest well-mild/dairy, etc.).
