Gi: Below the sternum is esophagus, the food pipe. May be your doctor wants you to have videoufloroscopic modified barium swallow to see any abnormal pocket , or egd a visual inspection of esophagus and stomach by endoscopy. These are the two ways, you can find out exactly what this ball is? Thanks.
