Not likely: Reducing your intake of carbohydrates, saturated fats and taking omega 3 fatty acids, such as fish oil will help. Reducing your weight would be helpful too.

No: If you want to reduce triglyceride level, you must exercise daily, keep ideal body weight, reduce glycemia. Intake of fish oil upto 5 gm will also help.If you still have problem with the triglycerides see an md!
