Not based on...: ... What you have told me. Graves' disease is not a risk, and if your bowel obstructions were due to old adhesions or some other non-tumor cause, this does not increase your risk over the next person. It's good for everybody to take the usual precautions against bowel cancer. Good luck.

Unrelated: Adhesions ( the most common source of intestinal obstruction) is unrelated to cancer. Grave's disease is also unrelated. But colonoscopy every 4-5 years prevents colon cancer.
