Skin tests?: There can be falsely negative results with allergy blood tests to pollen and animal dander. For these, a skin test could add more information and potentially confirm or rule out allergies. Symptoms on exposure to perfumes, candles, lotions and soaps would suggest an irritant rather than an allergic reaction.
