Moles: Go to a dermatologist and have them removed and they will send them for pathology to find out what they are.

Moles rarely red: Moles are rarely red in color and usually are brown or flesh toned. A red lesion in the skin or anywhere, chest included, are likely either vascular in nature or irritant in nature such as an actinic keratosis. Scaly plaques and redness is likely seborrheic keratosis but the list is long. See a dermatologist to put your min at rest.
