Lymphadenopathy: Although swollen glands are a sign of infection, they could also be symptoms of other conditions. If this has been going for a while, a follow up with your general practitioner is recommended.

Evaluation: Months of lymphadenopathy (lad) suggest a need for a diagnosis. Many people of lymph nodes (lns) that swell with infection and then resolve. Persistent or worsening LAD needs evaluation for infection, inflammation, or cancer.
