Completed all reqs.: Board certified means that a physician has successfully completed several rigorous training requirements. Firstly, a training regimen such as completing a residency or fellowship after medical school must be documented. Then an examination testing basic knowledge and problem solving must be passed. This is examination is given by a governing body such as the american board of internal medicine.

Board Certification: A license to practice is based on the minimal qualifications to do so, which are quite high in themselves. Board certification indicates that a professional has had training and experience a number of years beyond initial licensure and in a specific area such as, internal medicine, cardiology, clinical psychology, neuropsychology. Peace and good health.
