More likely laying.: Although any medication can have any side effect, Ibuprofen is not known for such effect. Conversely, they say that one day spent in bed will require 9 days of rehabilitation.

Likely not Ibuprofen: Most likely just stiff or residual narcotics from surgery. Ibuprofen even at high doses is fairly safe.
