See doc: You should get this checked out by an md or do, not a nurse practitioner of physician assistant. Rather than worry what it could be have it seen and then you can know for sure if it is something serious or not.

Tough to say: It is difficult to say without seeing the lesion. Could be benign or serious. Probably worth getting it checked.
