Define belly ache: Early on, any baby that's fussing for any reason will appear very similar. Their cry is powered by their breathing muscle which pushes down on the belly contents & pushes it out.The belly will always appear hard. They also swallow extra air which aggravates the issue.Many assume the hard tummy means a belly ache. Try things that comfort baby.Warm bath, rocking, extra burping. Over time this passes.
