Do i really need to take medicine to lower my blood pressure.?

Try diet change.: Reducing salt may help your blood pressure. Losing weight if you are overweight may help, but if your blood pressure is still high (over 140/90) medications are necessary.Lowering your blood pressure is important to reduce the risk of heart disease, kidney disease, and strokes.

Depends: Depending on your bp, other risk factors, weight etc. Try diet, exercise and loose some weight, if BP continues to be high , you may have to consider med.
