No: Colon polyps are mucosal tissue overgrowth which are not radio graphically sensitive. On the other hand, radioopaque lesions in salivary glands are soft tissue calcification which could be secondary to salivary duct calcification to chronic gland infection. Both are not related.

RE: My 1st Colonoscopy - Dr was great... he removed one large polyp from my transverse colon and several small ones elsewhere. I am glad he found something, but then he said no alcohol for 10 days. I feel fine. Why is alcohol forbidden?
