A Neurologist: Post concussion symptoms can be as simple as an occasional headache with studing to significant cognitive diablities. A neurologist is usually the first physician to involve. Imaging studies such as ct scans and mris may be necessary. Cognitive tests as well as general neurolgic evaluations can identify the extent of the problem. Cognitive rehab may also be necessary. Recovery can be unpredictable.

Varies: A post-concussive syndrome can leave patients with a variety of problems. Some patients will be left with chronic headaches (best treated by pain specialists), others with poor focus (best treated by physiatrists and neurologists), and others with anxiety/anger issues (best treated with psychiatrists). Please consult your local primary care physician and/or neurologist.
