Yes: If you are just staring therapy now it is a little late. Usually therapy is instituted about 8-10 weeks following perilunate injuries. If radiographs and even ct images at 4 months demonstrate a scaphoid nonunion with associated symptoms of pain and loss of motion, additional surgery might be needed.

Scaphoid: If you have a possible nonunion of your scaphoid you should not be doing range of motion of your wrist until you have been told by your treating surgeon that it is ok. It may be that the surgeon is not sure based upon a line on the xray and has further tests pending.
