Doctor can evaluate: If one has a painful toe "knuckle" that was injured in a fall 2 months ago, there may have been a small fracture or some other damage to the joint at the "knuckle". An orthopedic doctor or a podiatrist (foot doctor) can evaluate the foot and toes, and probably will do some x-rays to see what damage is there. Either of these doctors can start some helpful treatment.
