Functional cysts: Ovaries create ova, the egg that is fertilized to create a pregnancy. Cysts often contain the egg. The ovary produces many of these each cycle, and so having cysts on both ovaries could be functional, rather than abnormal. Urine tests are not as sensitive as blood tests, especially in the first few days. Get a blood test if you are concerned.
