It could be nomal: It could most definitely be normal. I would say that drainage could last for a few weeks. Red flags: increased pain, fever, redness, purulent (yellowish/pus, etc) discharge, etc. If you don't feel comfortable, make sure you see your surgeon asap.

Normal : It is very common to have some fluid drain out the opening where the drain was removed for a short period of time. Keep an absorbant pad over it to wick out the fluid. Call your surgeon with any questions.
