Treating herpes: I hope you're on an oral anti-herpes drug, i.e. valacyclovir or acyclovir. If not, ask your doctor for a prescription ASAP. Once on treatment, painful urination and other symptoms should start to improve in a few days. Until then, ask your doctor about an anesthetic ointment, such as lidocaine. Good luck!
