Pregnancy begins at conception, cause you're already 2 weeks at conception...so, what does implantation really state? & how long does it usually take?

About a week after: Conception is when your egg gets fertilized by a sperm, just after you ovulate - this happens in your fallopian tube. Implantation is when an embryo exits the tube and attaches to the lining of your uterus, about a week later. Unless a woman is doing ivf treatment we don't know the timing of these events, so we date your pregnancy in weeks from your last period, or from when you ovulate if known.
