Surgery plus: Radiation and chemotherapy and surgery for rectal cancer. If not treated it will grow and obstruct.

Complex: T4, or locally advanced rectal cancer, is usually treated by a combination of chemotherapy, radiation therapy and major surgery. Depending on the location of the tumor, it may include removal of the entire rectum and anus, with a permanent colostomy.
