Never normal but yes: I am sorry to hear of your problem as that may indicate ongoing pressure on the cervical nerve root as it exits the foramen. Physiotherapy is appropriate but if the symptoms persist then it would be wise to seek medical advice. There are further measures that can be undertaken but the benefits must be weighed against the risks. Good luck and a speedy recovery.
