Knee Clicking: You may have iliotibial band syndrome. This is a band of muscle running along the outside of your thigh, down to your knee. Try doing some stretches for your hips and knees. Put the affected side foot on the outside of the the other foot, parallel. Then bend at the waist and touch your fingers to your toes. This will help stretch the it band.

Pain is meaningful: Pain is a way your body talks to you...If you have pain, there is probably something wrong.. It may be your body telling you to stop that activity to avoid further damage. I recommend that you have this looked at by your family doc and possible referral to an orthopedist or sports medicine specialist..
