BPH: Tamsulosin s a treatment for difficult urination, a common symptom of enlarged prostate. Tamsulosin, and other medications in the class called Alpha blockers, work by relaxing bladder neck muscles and muscle fibers in the prostate itself and make it easier to urinate.[1].

For enlarge prostate: Tamsulosin is the generic name for a very commonly used drug flomax (tamsulosin). Tamsulosin is indicated for patients who have symptoms of enlarged prostate , frequency, too many trips to the bath room. , slow flow , dribbling the medication relaxes the smooth muscles around the prostate and makes it easy to urinate it should be taken at bed time to avoid side effects .. Dizziness is the most common.
