CCB: This is a blood pressure medication in the class of calcium channel blockers which results in lower blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels through blocking calcium mediated constriction. This certain CCB does not typically affect the heart rate as Diltiazem or verapamil can.

Nifedipine also known as procardia can cause a fast heart rate known as a reflex tachycardia. Amlodipine is a similar agent also known as norvasc its less likely to cause heart rate issues.

Same.as norvasc (amlodipine): Adalat (nifedipine) is a calcium channel blocker like Procardia and in the same class as norvasc. It is used to treat hypertension.
