Asthma Controller: Advair diskus (salmeterol and fluticasone) is used to treat asthma, it is an inhaled medication that has a steroid (fluticasone) which reduced lung inflammation and long acting salmeterol which relaxes airway muscles and improves breathing. Advair comes in 2 inhaler forms, hfa and diskus.
