See your dentist: Can't give you a straight answer, need more info. Your best bet is to go back to your dentist and have him check your mouth, and figure out what is causing these symptoms.

Possible loose cap: Dental treatment is not typically related to a bad taste, but if you noticed it right after treatment, there could be a link. If you cap is loose, it could be trapping food or leaking cement which could cause a bad taste. Please go back to the dentist and have it checked out.
