Arm pain: Many causes. Consider tendonitis, tendon tears, overuse, referred cervical spine pain, carpal tunnel, cubital tunnel, radial tunnel, bone injury, contusion, infection, fibromyalgia, inflammation, tumor, etc. Check with orthopedic surgeon.

So many things: There are so many causes. They include problems with the joints, muscles, tendons. One can get arm pain from a pinched nerve in the neck or in the bundle of nerves at the top of the arm called the brachial plexus. People who have heart attacks often experience pain in their left arm (although occ the right). Overworked or strained muscles can cause arms pain. Pinched nerves in the elbow or wrist.
