Now.: When weaning to whole milk, this is the time to wean completely off the bottle and switch to a cup.

12 mo weaning: It is good to wean now. If breastfeeding, mothers will wean to a cup directly without using a bottle if they can. If formula used with bottle, it is fine to transfer to a sippy cup and drink whole or 2% milk instead.
