Regular routine.: A regular bedtime hour and routine are important. Babies enjoy looking at picture books. You may want to read one regularly with your child. A favorite blanket or stuffed animal may help your baby feel secure at bedtime. Never put your baby in bed with a bottle. Put your baby to bed awake, but drowsy. If your baby wakes up a lot at night, ask your doctor or nurse for advice.

Sleep : By 9 months, your baby should be well over 10 pounds, which is a stable weight baseline for the baby to be able to sleep through the night. Normally at 9 months a baby sleeps 1-2 hours for naps and then through the night. Don't let the baby sleep more than two hours for naps or he/she will not be eating regularly and will awaken at night for more calories
