Clarify: Is your baby sleeping only 6 hours in 24 hours or just during the day? Does she take any naps? There isn't medication safe to make her sleep more. Trying instead improved sleep hygiene- make sure her sleeping area is quiet. Limit daytime naps. Contact your baby's pediatrician if poor sleep persists.

None: There is no medicine for infant sleep issues. Baby is likely getting more in brief naps, which will suffice for his/her needs. No baby (or adult) sleeps more than 4 hrs at a time without alerting & resettling. If you taught the baby to need rocking to get to sleep, they will need it every time. The best sleepers are allowed to self settle starting at birth with minimal parent involvement.
