Thorazine (chlorpromazine) is very: Lipophilic; so it is highly bound in the body. Base drug has half-life of 16-30 hours & has many active metabolites with even longer half-lives. Usually 7-8 half-lives are required for only 1% of original dose to remain; so at least 5-10 days for the base drug; with metabolites, it may take 2-3 weeks.
