May smile socially at familiar faces and voices, especially mother's voice.

2 week old behavior: At two weeks, babies can really only see if your face is about 12 inches a way. They need your tender touch, and listen to your voice, and being swaddled and held gently. Keep your face close to them and then move it away so they have a chance to relax and then restimulate.
