What are the symptoms of enlarged adenoids and how is it treated?

Nasalobstruction: Symptoms include but not limited to: nasal , obstruction, snoring, mouth breathing, recurrent sinus infection, ear infection and middle ear fluid causing diminished hearing. Treatment depend on age, severity of symptoms and size of adenoid. Treating underlying infection and nasal steroid spray may help, but adenoidectomy ( adenoid removal) is usually recommended if severely enlaerged adenoid.
