See your dentist: Brushing, flossing using certain mouth rinses will help.
Electric tooth brushes and tongue cleaners will also help.

It is a : Commitment you have to make to yourself. Basically brushing well (at least two minutes a day), using dental floss and or some inter-proximal cleaning adjunct, and finally brushing your tongue. If financially you are able to invest in a quality mechanical toothbrush like a braun oral b triumph and a waterpik - if will be money well spent.

Awareness&Education: Asking the question is the first step. Brushing, flossing, and regular dental visits are the next. As you fine tune things, you may delve into diet management, additional hygiene tools, and continued technique refinement. Talk to you dentist and hygienist and keep improving :).
