Make it fun: The behavioral aspect of exercise is key to a long lasting life with exercise. Making it fun by creating some variety or doing it with others or doing it for supporting a charity are some ways to keep your exercise fresh and exciting.

Set goals: A good way to stay motivated is to set goals and monitor progress. I don't like weight goals as those are influenced by muscle mass etc. Set goals for increased miles, weight or repititions. Write down these goals and try to hit them weekly. Another simple way is to get a work out partner. You can help each other stay motivated.

Have fun!: The number one way to stay motivated when exercising is to do something that is fun for you. For example, if you love tennis, make that a big part of your exercise routine. Exercising with a friend also helps. This way you will be less likely to "skip" a day. Have fun, feel good, and do it with a friend!

Workout with others: Working out with others may help with motivation, and also help you set goals by competing with others and against yourself.
