A member asked:

My gums are very sore and pale, i'm thinking it might be because i've been breathing through my mouth because of the flu but i'm not sure.?

See below: Are they bleeding? Mouth breathing is never good because it drys out your mouth. Saliva is the protector of teeth and gums. The best thing you can do is start breathing through your nose again ..If you start doing that and the soreness doesn't go away then you could have a problem. Are you sure its your gums and not the teeth that hurt. Try using clove oil rubbing this on the effected areas.
