Vaginal bleeding: Ovarian cancer does not usually cause abnormal uterine bleeding. You should be worked up for endometrial cancer or hyperplasia. This means seeing your gynecologist and getting an endometrial biopsy.

Usually not: Vaginal bleeding after menopause usually comes from the lining of the uterus. It can be caused by polyps or abnormal cells in the lining of the uterus among other causes. Anyone with bleeding after menopause needs to see their doctor and possibly get an ultrasound and a biopsy of the lining of the uterus.
