Usually not: Bruising has a reputation for being linked to leukemia, and while some patients with leukemia can have bruising, most patients with bruising do not have leukemia. A simple blood test can clear up whether bruising is due to low platelets, and a visit to the doctor can usually clear up any confusion quickly.

Not necessarily. : Bruising can be a symptom of leukemia. The arms are a common area to bruise, do bruising of the arms does not necessarily mean leukemia. If new bruising continues, it would be best to see your healthcare provider. They can run tests to see what is going on. Good luck.
