Impulsive behaviors can also be harmless but occur without pre-planning. Children with ADHD have an inability to plan ahead, not enough fuel in the part of the brain responsible for motor planning, and do things they later either deny or regret. Deny because they did not intend to to them or regret because of the consequences. For example, pushing another child, saying things without thought.

Many more examples, i.e. seeing if that pair of scissors REALLY CAN cut the window screen, trying to boil an egg in the microwave, calling the teacher a witch, running into the street, taking things belonging to others, blurting out answers in class before the question has completed, breaking a pencil, throwing something across the room. many many more
