Hopefully: Permanent teeth are the ones that replace your primary (or baby) teeth and are hopefully just that...Permanent- ones that you have for the rest of your life. However, in order for that to be true, you have to keep them clean and healthy. That requires routine and proper tooth brushing, flossing, a healthy diet and regular dental check-ups.

Adult tooth: The adult teeth replace all of the baby teeth. You should also receive four second molars. You may or may not get wisdom teeth.

Adult tooth: Permanent teeth are our secondary dentition that develop and erupt to replace our primary (baby) teeth as they fall out. There are 32 teeth in the permanent dentition. Usually the first teeth to come in are the 1st molars or 6 year molars. The last teeth to come in are the 3rd molars or wisdom teeth.

Adult tooth: These are the adult or secondary teeth that erupt and are intended to remain for life. They can number 32 if the 3rd molars are present. They replace all 20 of the primary (baby) teeth and fill in spaces behind them.
