Rejuvenating skin: Chemical peeling is a non-surgical way to enhance the appearance and texture of skin by reducing dark spots and wrinkles. Specific chemicals are applied to the skin, in a controlled way to cause the skin to peel several days later. Strong chemicals (phenol or 50%tca) penetrate deep, with strong results, but long healing time. Weaker peels include 35%tca, jessner's, and glycolic among others.

Improve skin tone: Peels are a technique to remove outer layers of the skin to smooth texture, improve lines and wrinkles and reduce unwanted skin pigmentation. A chemical solution (usually fruit, milk acid) is applied to the skin (face/neck/chest/hands/body) and flaking or peeling occurs 3-5 days after. New skin is smoother, less wrinkled and more luminous the prior to peel. You may need a series of peels..
