Many causes: There are many causes of leg redness including skin rashes (eczema, psoriasis), infections (cellulitis, fungal infections, roseola, fifth disease), allergic reactions and insect bites (bedbugs, lice, mosquito, scabies). Varicose veins and hemorrhage under the skin are also causes. More serious causes include venous thrombosis (DVT) and serious allergic reactions such as erythema multiforme.
