It looks scaly: Scaly lesions are just that - skin conditions that appear scaly. They are dry and usually can flake off if scratched. Dandruff is a type of scaly lesion of the scalp. Eczema is another common scaly lesion. Many fungal skin infections are also scaly, but some skin cancers can also be scaly, so if uncertain have a dermatologist or your primary care doc take a look at it.
