See ortho: Many times as soon as u injure it and look at it, if there is deformity at the joint, = dislocation with/with out fx and ligament damage. If deformity is between the joint, = fracture. If it is just grossly swollen, u need to c an orth surg and b eval + xrays 2 b sure, and 2 get proper treatment no matter what u think it is!
